Sachin Chaudhary, 34, a councilor from ward 10 area of Loni Nagar Palika Parishad, was found dead around 8.45 pm on Thursday. He was found dead inside his car which was parked near Punjab and Sindh Bank at Indrapuri area of Loni in Ghaziabad, police officials said.

Chaudhary had suffered two bullet injuries in his head. "After receiving information, police rushed him to GTB hospital in Delhi, where he was declared dead," senior superintendent of police (SSP) Raghubir Lal said.
Police said on April 16, Chaudhary had lodged an attempt-to-murder case against five persons which was found to be incorrect.
"There was a compromise going on between them. As per initial information, the murder is related to this case," SSP added.
