The Material girl also donated copies of her debut children's story The English Roses to AIDS orphans in Blantyre.

Madonna and Ritchie arrived in a four-vehicle convoy at Kondanani children's village, near Blantyre, where she met a group of 50 children. After listening to the children sing, Madonna handed the kids translated copies of her book.

"She and her husband are very lovely. She has a kind heart; she really wants to help. She appreciates the work we are doing here," orphanage director Anne Chikhwaza was quoted by Contactmusic, as saying.
