More than one lakh devotees are likely to take part in the "biggest-ever" Maha yajna on February 19 next year, being organised by the Vedic Yajna Anusandhan Sansthan, Braham Sarovar at Kurukshetra.

Asking people of all communities to take part in the ceremony, Sansthan spokesman JS Sandhu said the yajna is being planned for the welfare of people and world peace.
Several thousand devotees from abroad are also expected to take part in the yajna and registrations are on via telephone and internet, he said.
People from all religions are expected to take part, he said adding that the Maha yajna would be remembered as a symbol of unity and integrity in the country.
