Maharishi Vidya Mandir celebrates Guru Purnima
ON THE auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, a grand celebration was organised at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Ratanpur here today.
The programme began with offering prayers to the Guru, who enlightens our path and guide us at every step. He leads us from darkness towards light.
This was followed by Guru Vandana, which was performed by the girls of primary section. Thereafter, students presented a melodious group song the wording of which were Jab se hui hai bhagya se humko Sadguru ki pahchan.
Boys of class VIII presented Guru Naman. This was followed by a speech by Anshu Pathak of class V, which began with a beautiful quotation — Mati mein ho samta, hridaya mein vishalta, guru par ho prasannata, jeewan rahe mahakta.
A group song presented by the students of primary wing — Guru purnima hai aaj, Guru ko naman karen – mesmerised one and all.
A skit emphasised that only a true devotee of Guru can seek knowledge from him. Senior teacher V K Singh defined the word Guru. In his address, Principal Dr S N Rai presented his ideas on Guru Mahima.
Thereafter, Deepti Mayeejal and Akshay Yadav presented a song. Abhimanyu Guhe played the Hansdhwani Raag on violin, which was appreciated a lot.
