Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to become the first Indian manufacturer to own a team in the FIM MotoGP World Motorcycle Racing Championship.
Named Mahindra Racing, the team will compete in 125cc category in the 2011 season.
Mahindra, which has recently entered the two-wheeler segment, will have Danny Webb from UK and Marcel Schrötter from Germany to ride for Mahindra Racing in the opening season which will take place in Qatar in March.
The Mahindra motorcycle for the MotoGP has been designed and developed by Engines Engineering, Italy.
