The overall victory was secured by Toyota factory team who managed to get the better of the mighty Audi factory team for the first time since the Japanese car manufacturer’s return to sportscar racing this year.

Chandhok helped the team take fifth place despite minor contact with an Audi and even managed to set the team’s fastest lap of the race.
