Man killed in Nasik Muncipal Corporation premises

A NMC employee was stabbed to death in the corporation premises by a fellow NMC employee over a personal dispute.

A Nasik Muncipal Corporation employee was stabbed to death in the corporation premises on Thursday morning by a fellow NMC employee over a personal dispute.

The deceased Balkrishna Parbati (40) who worked as a peon in the NMC,was stabbed by his co-worker Sanjay Chavan on Thursday morning. Chavan also slashed another fellow employee who tried to save Parbati.

Chavan was immediately caught and handed over to the police. The police have registered a case of homicde and balme the attack on personal rivalry.

Meanwhile NMC mayor Vinayak Pande said that all step would bet aken to rehabilitate Parbati's family comprising his wife and teenaged son.
