Two persons were killed and six others injured in a bomb blast near a market area in Imphal on Thursday evening, police said.

Two persons were killed and six others injured in a bomb blast near a market area in Imphal on Thursday evening, police said.
The bomb planted by militants near Shingjamei, a market place, went off at around 5:30pm causing the casualties, police said.
