Mayur Park loot accused caught

According to police, Anil Rathor, 21, a resident of Bhim Nagar and Anil Yadav, 20, were arrested on Tuesday. On December 31, they had robbed Meenakshi and her friend, Abhay Jain, both students of Barkatullah University, in the Mayur Park.
They had snatched her purse, cell phone and gold chain and also inflicted head injuries on Meenakshi. During interrogation the accused confessed that they had committed other loots near the Railway station.
Anil Yadav also committed loot in Shyamla Hills area in the past apart from some other minor cases. The other accused, Anil Rathor, has been arrested for over a dozen burglaries in the past.
The accused are drug-addicts and consume nitrovate, a tranquiliser. They had bought 20 tablets from a medical store in Chhola just before committing the loots.
The police are going to take action against the owner of the drug store for selling the tablets without prescription. Meanwhile, the accused are being interrogated.
