McCartney going to be a grandpa!

The grapevine has it that the ex-Beatle's designer daughter, Stella, is all set to be a mother.

The pitter-patter of little feet are reportedly about to sound once again in the McCartney household. This time however, it’s not the famous ‘Beatles’ singer’s estranged wife Heather whose pregnant, but his designer daughter Stella.

A friend of Stella McCartney revealed that the whole family was extremely excited about the news, and that it had really lifted Cartney's spirits following the spilt from his wife of four years.

"She couldn't wait to tell her dad. After everything he's been through recently, she knew it would really cheer him up," Contactmusic quoted the pal, as telling the Daily Mirror.

The friend also added that father and daughter had grown extremely close ever since his marriage had broken down.

"She's been talking to him a lot since his marriage broke down - they've grown closer than ever," the pal added.
