MCD salary hike
Municipal councillors may soon get a fixed salary. According to sources, municipal commissioner K S Mehra has finally sent all the proposals cleared by MCD related to salary and perks of municipal councillors to the Delhi government.

Municipal councillors may soon get a fixed salary. According to sources, municipal commissioner KS Mehra has finally sent all the proposals cleared by MCD related to salary and perks of municipal councillors to the Delhi government.
The political wing of the MCD was miffed at the commissioner for delaying the proposal that was to be sent to the Delhi government.
