MCD seals TRAI office in New Delhi

The office has been sealed under the ongoing drive against unauthorised commercial establishments in residential areas.

The main office of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), a government body that regulates the Indian telecom sector, was sealed on Wednesday under the ongoing drive against unauthorised commercial establishments in residential areas.

"As per directions, we have sealed the TRAI office in south Delhi's Safdarjung Enclave," said Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Deputy Commissioner SK Bhandari.

The MCD on Wednesday resumed its sealing operations after the Supreme Court direction two days ago.
