Also makeing the team are RP Singh, Suresh Raina and newcomer Poraveen Kumar, the highest wicket-taker in Ranji Trophy this season.

There are six standbyes and the selectors, it seems, believe that Kaif and RP Singh might get a Test call. Murali Kartik is also expected to be in the Test squad.
