Meet today: BJP South City unit ill-prepared
THE BJP district unit of the South City, it seems, is not well-prepared for the party workers? meeting to be held in the State Capital tomorrow. Reason: The district unit has not yet received, from the South City, the list of the core members of the party. So, it is not possible for district unit to send the same to the state party unit for the tomorrow?s meeting. Besides, the deadline for sending the details of the workers who will attend the meeting, was over on Saturday.
THE BJP district unit of the South City, it seems, is not well-prepared for the party workers’ meeting to be held in the State Capital tomorrow.
Reason: The district unit has not yet received, from the South City, the list of the core members of the party. So, it is not possible for district unit to send the same to the state party unit for the tomorrow’s meeting. Besides, the deadline for sending the details of the workers who will attend the meeting, was over on Saturday.
In view of this, some party observers felt that the meeting might not give the effects desired by the state party leadership.
The meeting is aimed at inviting the party workers most of whom are office-bearers at the divisional and ward-levels in the district. The meeting is likely to be attended by the party’s national president Rajnath Singh and the chief ministerial candidate for the next assembly election and former chief minister Kalyan Singh and others.
The party leaders felt that the hardcore party workers party were the ones who actually discuss the party strategy with people and take the party ideology to people.
However, the South City unit of the party in Kanpur, from the organisational point of view, has not sent the list of the office-bearers for the meeting. The purpose of seeking the details was to give entry cards to the workers whose names were already with the organisers of the meeting.
Though the North city unit of the party has already sent the list of the party workers to the State BJP office, the South City unit has not yet sent anything to the party office in this regard. When contacted district president of the party from the South City Radhey Shyam Pandey said the preparations were on and the list of the party workers was expected to reach the district party unit by tonight.
