Ex-DGP seeks security
NOW, A former director general of police needs security for himself and his private institute following a bomb threat.

Former DGP Girish Bihari has sought the security in a curtly and rudely written letter addressed to DGP Yashpal Singh on the official letter head of the DGP on which a small ‘R’ preceding ‘Director General of Police’ denotes ‘retired’.

Bihari has informed the DGP in the letter that one of his security guards Suresh Kumar Shukla received a phone call on his phone (2751066) informing him that a bomb would explode at a nearby place and another after half an hour on the campus of the International Institute for Special Education (IISE), an institute run by Dr Bihari.

The second and the last paragraph of the letter says “Soohana preshit hai jo karna ho karen magar lipapoti na karen. savaihdhanik karyavahi karen to aap dayitava ka nirvha karenge jiski aapne NPA meien sapath khai thi. Mere uoopar agar hamla hua to aap jimmedar honge.”

However, the Home Department and the DGP Office ignored the letter which has become a topic of discussion.
