Actor Michael Douglas has started recording his own interviews because he is tired of being misquoted.

Douglas recently slammed GQ magazine saying that he was misquoted poking fun at Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's romance, reports Contactmusic. So he has now taken measures to keep evidence to show when he is misquoted in the future.

He says: "Unfortunately, in all these press roundtables I have now started to have my own tape recorder for everything. Kim Basinger will not do print. She only trusts what comes out of her mouth, rather than be interpreted.

"It is an interesting phenomenon. I don't think it's the writer's fault, per se; I think it's always usually the editor who is creating that. But you're gonna see more and more people who either are not gonna do print or will bring their own tape recorders with them."
