Mika moves court for anticipatory bail

Punjabi pop singer Mika Singh, who has been booked in a molestation case following a complaint by Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant, on Wednesday moved a sessions court seeking anticipatory bail, sources said.

Mika was seeking bail as he feared arrest in the case, they added.

The singer prayed for interim relief saying that police should be restrained from arresting him until the court decided on his bail petition, the sources said.

His plea would be heard later on Wednesday afternoon, they added.
