"Army and police launched a joint operation in village Chandusa of Baramulla district last evening following information about the hideout there," an Army spokesman said.

"During the search, a militant hideout was unearthed and an AK 47 rifle, one pistol along with one magazine each and some ammunition were recovered," the spokesman added.
