Two soldiers were injured when militants triggered an IED blast in North Kashmir's Rafiabad area on Baramulla highway on Thursday.

The militants detonated the IED (Improvised Explosive Device) around 10:45 am attacking a road clearing jammer vehicle which was coming ahead of an army convoy.
"Around 10.45 am, an IED blast took place. A jammer vehicle which was part of a ROP party before the convoy was to come was damaged in the attack. The militants had laid the mine on the road between Ladura and Chakala. One jawan was injured in the attack,'' said DIG North Ghulam Hassan.
According to police, the militants laid down the explosives at night.
Sources however said two jawans were injured in the attack.
The injured personnel have been rushed to the Army hospital.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a massive search operation.
