An Orissa man working as a plumber in Libya was attacked by some miscreants and died last week, his grief-stricken widow said here on Thursday.
HT ImageNabaghan Bhuan, 38, from Baluanga village in this district succumbed to his injuries after a week of treatment in a Libya hospital.
Bhuan had been working as a plumber in a construction company in eastern Libya for eight years.
"Some Oriya workers telephoned me and informed me that he had been killed," his widow Mitali told the agency. The couple has a son and a daughter.
Bhuan's body will reach New Delhi Thursday and be flown to Bhubaneswar later in the day, she said.
