Miserly Mariah forgets to tip

Singer Mariah Carey has upset the staff of Shore Club Hotel in the US by not leaving behind any tip for the staffers.

Globe Magazine has reported that when Mariah Carey recently stayed at the Shore Club Hotel in South Beach, she ran up a huge bill of nearly $100,000, but the singer didn’t even leave a dime for a tip to a steamed staff. While a staffer says the singer was surprisingly pleasant during her stay, a waitress explained, “We usually don’t serve hot tea by the pool, but since she was so charming, I went and got it for her. But she left no gratuity at all. She’s a phony cheapskate-!” They suggest the singer bring her own teapot if she plans a visit again.
