"We have also released the sketch of the suspect who allegedly kidnapped the infant," he added.

On November 15, a Faridabad couple lodged a complaint about the abduction of their infant. Neelam, the suspect, reportedly accompanied the mother to a hospital to administer polio drops to the baby. On their way, she fled with the infant.

Police have registered an FIR under Section 363 of the IPC.

"All possible efforts are being made to trace the whereabouts of both the kidnapper and the infant," Dhanda said.
