Mittal Steel won regulatory approval for its revised plan to buy its rival Arcelor, creating the world's largest steelmaker.
Mittal's offer, which was raised for a second time on June 26 and recommended by Luxembourg-based Arcelor to its shareholders, was approved by regulators in Belgium, France, Luxembourg and Spain, the Luxembourg regulator said ON Wednesday.
