MLAs not insignificant in governor's rule: MoS

Minister of state in prime minister's office Jitendra Singh has said that imposition of the governor rule in Jammu and Kashmir has not left the elected MLAs insignificant as they are free to work for the welfare of the masses.

Minister of state in prime minister's office Jitendra Singh has said that imposition of the governor rule in Jammu and Kashmir has not left the elected MLAs insignificant as they are free to work for the welfare of the masses.

Singh said that the governor's rule has been imposed in view of a particular situation prevailing in the state.

He was speaking during a felicitation function organised by the Panun Kashmir for the elected MLAs of the Jammu region.
Many elected BJP MLAs who attended the felicitation ceremony listed their concerns over the uncertainty prevailing in the state over the government formation.
