Mluleki Nkala, a member of the Ndebele tribe, made his Test debut against England at Trent Bridge in 2000.

He is a medium-fast inswing bowler who can bat. He made a ton against England Under-19s in 1998. To add to that he was also the leading wicket-taker Youth World Cup in South Africa capturng 15 wickets that year.

For the 18-year-old youngster though, prized wicket of Sachin Tendulkar with his second ball in international cricket, in a one-dayer against India at Bulawayo in 1999, must be particularly sweet.

He has also done a short stint at the Australian Cricket Academy, under the guidance of Australian great Dennis Lillee.
