“Jan Morcha alliance will prove as an alternative to Mulayam led State government in the upcoming Assembly election in Uttar Pradesh”, Babbar told mediapersons here on Saturday. As part of Mukti Sangram Yatra, Babbar was here in Varanasi to address a public meeting.
Babbar lashed out at Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, saying, instead of providing jobs to unemployed youths, his government was disbursing unemployment doles to them. “There are 5 lakh vacancies in different departments”, he said and alleged that ministers and relatives of Mulayam Singh Yadav were engaged in minting money in the name of providing jobs to the unemployed youths in different departments.
Babbar claimed that if his alliance came to power in the State, his alliance would ensure implementation of six points within one hour of cabinet formation.
“The six points are—freeing farmers and weavers from loans, abolition of law which allows acquiring lands of farmers, nine percent reservation for Muslims, jobs to unemployed youth, ensuring steps in a direction to ascertain 10 percent reservation to the members of forward class belongging to poor families and recommendation for listing deprived castes in the list of scheduled tribe”, he claimed.
Later, Raj Babbar addressed a public meeting at Ramleela ground in Rohania.
