Irfan Pathan’s three wickets in the first over of Karachi Test are now the maximum by any bowler in first over of a Test match.

The previous record was of two wickets shared by three bowlers, South Africa’s 'Tip' Snooke, India’s Javagal Srinath (twice) and New Zealand’s Chris Cairns.
