Malaika who walked in the LIFW venue with her son in her arms and sister Amrita was an instant hit with trigger-happy shutterbugs who filled the lobby of The Grand.

Malaika has been juggling veejaying, emceeing high profile events and has been doing item songs for Hindi movies with remarkable ease for a while now. "I love doing everything. How many people get the chance of doing what I am doing. And the best part of it all is motherhood and I love it," she confessed.
Malaika has been getting plenty of movie offers, which includes item numbers as well. However, Malaika elaborates: "You have to be choosy. I will be doing a full length feature film which is bi-lingual but I can't tell more about it right now." So what is more paying: being a veejay or a movie star? "That's for you to find out. If I tell you more I will have the income tax guys knocking on my door."
Recently Malaika met Enrique Iglesias: "He is so good looking and flirtatious." Ask her how does husband Arbaaz cope with her fame and the constant hobnobbing with the handsome hunks and she laughs: "Arbaaz is secure because I love him."
Malaika's long-term plans include opening a "restaurant that will serve spicy food," she laughs. So look watch out for Malaika's new act in the near future. The best things in life come in small packages and Malaika packs quite a punch most of the time!
