According to sources, these missing children including girls and boys, fall in the age group six to seventeen years.

However, not a single case of human trafficking related to these cases has come to light in the district but it is suspected that the minor boys and girls are being abducted for smuggling of human body parts.

SP Vineet Khanna said, "Search for the children is on. Clues about them will be found out to bring them back to their kin." He said that all the town inspectors have been directed to take action in the cases.
