MP: ‘Raped’, 19-yr-old girl jumps off tower
One of the doctors who conducted her post-mortem analysis said she might have been raped by multiple persons and her body had bruises apart from bite marks on her chest. The final post-mortem report, however, is awaited.
A 19-year-old girl committed suicide by jumping off a tower in Madhya Pradesh’s Bina town and her autopsy indicates she may have been gangraped before she killed herself.
Eyewitnesses said the girl was without clothes when she scaled the tower. She jumped off it before anyone could intervene, a witness added.
The girl was identified as a resident of Dindori district who had come to Bina, around 400kms from her home, to take part in a recruitment test.

"The vaginal swabs have been sent to the forensic lab", said a police official who is part of the investigation.
Late on Tuesday, her father arrived to take back the body. He told the police that his daughter had left home to appear in a recruitment examination for job in the postal department in Jabalpur.
There was some confusion regarding her whereabouts as the family said she was supposed to be on her way to Indore at the time of the incident.
