Mulayam seeks stay in corruption case

The UP chief minister, booked by the agency in an assets case, has sought stay on the probe till May 31.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday moved the Supreme Court seeking a stay on the CBI investigation against him and his family members for allegedly amassing wealth disproportionate to their known sources of income.

Yadav, who filed a petition for review of the judgment for preliminary inquiry by the agency, has sought stay on the investigation till May 31.
