"Muslims are against terrorism of any kind as it is against the principles of Islam. Darul Uloom at Deoband too had issued a fatwa against terrorism sometime back," president of the Madhya Pradesh unit of the JUH Haji Haroon said.

At a press conference here, Haroon also demanded 10 percent reservation for Muslims in government jobs in the state.

"The reservations to Muslims are already in place in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Manipur. The West Bengal government too announced 10 percent reservation," he said.
