According to the February 22 statement by the GSMA Mobile World Congress, bus and metro workers from TMB, the main public transport operator in Barcelona, have announced plans to strike during the event, which is being held from February 27 to March 1.

In response to potential disruption caused to GSMA World Mobile Congress visitors, the event organizers have drafted a contingency plan which will be made available to attendees on Saturday, February 25.

Those planning on attending the event that are already within Barcelona can obtain a copy of this contingency plan from hotels and Mobile World Congress registration points -- onsite and at the airport.

Attendees not yet in Barcelona can find more information on the contingency plan via the Mobile World Congress Customer Care Center at 0034 932332000.
