Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Naidu termed the claim of Digvijaya Singh that slain Mumbai ATS chief Hemant Karkare had called him hours before the 26/11 terror strikes in Mumbai was "stupidity and idiotic".

"What is this ? It was a serious and sensitive matter. The statement is a serious blow to India's fight against terror and such comments would only please Pakistan", he said.

Referring to remarks of Kavita Karkare, widow of slain ATS chief Hemant Karkare, who accused Singh of playing votebank politics, Naidu said " the remark of Kavita Karkare was slap on the face of Digvijaya Singh.
