National hockey camp for U-18 on

THE NATIONAL hockey camp for under-18 girls is being organised from January 3 at Sports Authority of India (SAI) regional sports centre, Bishen Kheri. The camp will end on February 17.

The camp is being organised to select the national junior team for the Asia Cup to be organised at Karachi, Pakistan, from February 19. The camp is being organised in three sessions each day.

International coach Y S Chauhan, Ajit Lakra and G S Sandhu are providing coaching to the participants of the camp. In all, 37 girls are participating. No girl from Bhopal has been selected for the camp.

Cricket tournament

CENTRAL INDIA Regional Council for Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Indore Branch will organise a cricket tournament. Teams from Pune, Jaipur, Lucknow and Udaipur branches of ICAL are taking part in the tournament.

The tournament will begin tomorrow at Daly College ground.
