National legal literacy day held

DISTRICT AND sessions judge Renu Sharma on Thursday highlighted the importance of the recently promulgated law against domestic violence, saying this would enable women to protect themselves and fight against injustice.
Renu Sharma who is also chairperson of the Bhopal district legal aid authority was addressing a function at Gandhi Bhawan to mark national legal literacy day.
Additional district judge AK Pandey cited several examples to stress the point that there are adequate legal provisions for protection of the common citizen. District bar association president Vijay Choudhary and secretary Anand Tiwari also shed light on various legal provisions.
