Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Leader of the Opposition LK Advani, NDA convenor George Fernandes and other members of the opposition alliance marched into the presidential palace couple of hours before the start of the monsoon session of Parliament.

Women leaders banged steel plates with spoons as men rang handbells during their symbolic demonstration at Vijay Chowk leading to the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Led by Advani, the NDA marchers shouted "down with UPA" and "this government is useless" as they entered the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
