Being hot and irresistible has its occupational hazards. And when tinsel town's most desirable women have men swooning at their feet, ready to even kill for them, the glam hotties have to pay the price at times.

"I am a celebrity and my private life has literally become public. You are no longer a common man and so you lose the most precious thing of life called privacy. What I don't like is wherever I go, people just mob me like anything. Sometimes, we feel that we are not free to roam around and we have become slaves of our celebrity status. Besides all that, you will get some unwanted stalkers, hundreds of marriage proposals and everyday rumours associating you with one person or the other," states Udita Goswami.

Many actresses also express that after becoming a celebrity, they have realized that it's actually painful to live up to the expectations of fans.

Recalling one of the incidents of stalking, Neha Dhupia says, "Whenever I go to Dubai, I come across a person who follows me everywhere. He tells me that he is a great fan of mine. He is below 20 and the way he is after me, I think he is really a crazy chap. It happens several other times also but I try to ignore it as much as I can."

Vidya Balan adds to Neha's point: "They watch you in films and if they like your character, they forget that we live in two worlds - real and reel."

Another actress Rimi Sen diverts a little as she exposes the pretentious glam world. "We have become showy. Even if I am not feeling well from within I have to keep a pleasant look. We become artificial creatures. Even in tense and troubling situations, we pretend as if everything is very fine with us. Moreover, we are required to look glamorous because we are under pressure," explains Rimi.
