"There is no proposal to probe into the spying as referred to in the question," minister of state for home Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary told Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

He was replying to a written question by M Udhayakumar and Sunil Kumar Singh whether the government has set up any inquiry committee/ commission to investigate the spying incidents.

A controversy recently broke out following reports that Netaji's family was kept under surveillance by the Intelligence Bureau for 20 years, much of it during the tenure of prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

The minister said a large number of files relating to Netaji, including those relating to Khosla Commission and Mukherjee Commission, have been already declassified and sent to the National Archives of India.

There are, however, some classified files with the central government and some files are with the West Bengal government relating to Bose, Chaudhary said.
