The new directives made it mandatory for every centre superintendent that they should send the answer books to the main or to the sub-answer book collection centres after the end of the one-meeting examination on each day.

The Board said that if any centre superintendent would not send the answer books to the collection centre on the same day, the answer books of that very centre would not be accepted the next day.

If the centre superintendent would make any mistake in sending the answer books, the answer books the candidates taking examination from that centre would not be checked. This would cause a loss to the examinees.

Earlier, the Centre superintendents sent the answer books to the collection centers the next day. At least they never sent the answer books of the examinations held in the second meeting from 3 pm to 6 pm on the same day on the pretext of sending the safely in the late evening hours. But now the Board has warned against delaying the despatch of the answer books.

According to the DIOS sources, the new system was introduced to avoid manipulation in the answer books at any level. There had been complaints of manipulation in the answer books at some centers. The board has directed the centre superintendents to transfer the answer books on the same day to the collection or the sub- collection centres at all costs.
