"Obviously, we would like to win matches," he told reporters at the airport here when asked if he was disappointed by India's performance in the last two games.

"But we are on an equal footing with New Zealand ... Will have to win the next two big games, which are critical", said Wright, accompanied by the team's physical trainer Gregory Allen King and spinner Harbhajan Singh.

India take on Australia here on November 12 and New Zealand at Hyderabad on November 15.

Wright expressed hope that Ganguly would be available for Wednesday's encounter against the World Champions at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

"Obviously we are looking forward to having him back in the side when he is fit," the coach added.
