Night running of trains in West Midnapore to emain suspended
Running of passenger trains on the Kharagpur-Rourkela and Kharagpur-Adra sections in West Midnapore district in West Bengal will continue to remain suspended till August 6 between 10:00 pm and 5:00 am in view of security reasons, an official release said today.

Accordingly, some trains have been diverted, re-scheduled and regulated, it said.
The 8477/8478 Puri-Haridwar-Puri Utkal Express will continue to run via Jharsuguda-Sambalpur-Cuttack and vice versa instead of Jharsuguda-Tata-Kharagpur-Cuttack, it said.
Similarly, 8005/8006 Howrah-Koraput-Howrah Express will run via Howrah-Kharagpur-Bhadrak-Angul-Sambalpur and vice versa instead of Howrah-Kharagpur-Tata-Jharsuguda-Sambalpur.
The 8419 Puri-Darbhanga Express on August 5 will be rescheduled to leave Puri at 10:00 pm instead of 2:05 PM.
The Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Orissa Sampark Kranti Express (2819) on August 4 will be re-scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar at 10:00 pm instead of 3:40 pm, it said.
