Nikhil Chinapa set to make B'wood debut

His professional life is as dynamic as his personality. Veejay Nikhil Chinapa is all set to wear another funky hat.

This time he is on Bollywood duty. Yes, Nikhil is making his acting debut in Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamana with Rekha, Mahima Chaudhary, Vasundhra Das and Kim Sharma as co -stars.

The movie is now ready for release. “It was a fun experience doing the movie, it was a short and quick shoot. For me, it was more about gaining experience of a different kind than being a hero.

Nikhil Chinapa in a funky mood

I did this for a friend who is producing the movie. I play the character of a low IQ gym boy called Rocky, says Nikhil, who is enjoying an extended New Year party in Goa at the moment.

It is not that the acting bug has suddenly bitten him. It is just that he had not come across any script worth his while. “I don’t have a perfect script or a perfect role in mind but I would love to do a role where I cross the road, and find a lady and then dramatically say: ‘Maaaa…. tum’ and then die,” he laughs. And of course the one-liner: “I’m not open to the role of a porn star… not yet”
