"It’s going to be a big day," say CID sleuths probing the case. The results of the test will have an impact on the cases against him.

Nityananda will be made to undergo series of tests and a final report will be submitted based on which the investigation will go ahead.

A notice is already served to Nityananda to be present at the CID headquarters on July 30 morning, from where he will be accompanied to Victoria hospital under tight security cover, CID sources said.

“The doctors have confirmed the date and the formation of a panel. The panel of doctors would carry out tests on Nityananda. However details of the tests are kept confidential.”

CID sleuths faced hurdles during their investigations into a complaint filed by Nityananda’s one time confidante Lenin Karuppan. The court that was hearing the case, recently gave the CID a go-ahead to conduct voice and medical tests on Nityananda.

In wake of Nityananda’s alleged claims of being impotent and his non-cooperation to voice and medical tests despite repeated letters, the CID had submitted its plea before the court, whose order had come as a big relief to sleuths investigating the case. The CID then wrote to Victoria hospital asking for a panel to be set-up.
