‘Blink-and-miss-me’ grind:
“I don’t know why there’s a fuss over of my guest appearances. The 36 China Town cameo got me a three-film deal with Mukta Arts. Soon after, I bagged a cameo in Bhagam Bhag, so what’s the big deal? The film has been received well. Moral of the story: Do good work and better work follows.”

Fast forward:
“I’m quite excited. I have some great films with good roles and that too with good banners — Priyadarshan’s Dhol, Vishram Sawant’s Risk, Ashwini Chaudhary’s Good Boy, Bad Boy, Vikram Bhatt’s Speed and Anurag Singh’s Raqeeb.... So no more guest appearances. 2007 will be a mixed bag for me — I play a girl-next-door in Dhol and Speed, a comic role in Good Boy..., a romantic lead in Risk, so on and so forth. I am happy with the way my career is shaping up. It is commercial cinema for me at the moment, no art cinema, please.”

New Year plans:
“I’ve been flooded with offers to perform Pyaar Ka Signal (Bhagam Bhag) number on stage. I did one show in Kolkata, but no more shows for me. I desperately want to be at home with family for the celebrations. That would be the best way to usher in the new year.”

Weight and watch:
“I’m quiet comfortable with my body and don’t think that I need to change anything. It is just perfect and if at all I feel the need to reduce my weight, I would do it gladly.”

Buzz around the city:
“On being linked to Priyadarshan; I would just say, it’s bizarre. Ours is a serious professional relationship. Earlier, I was similarly linked to Aashiq Banaya Aapne director, Aditya Dutt. It is just a rumour. There’s nothing to add.”
