'No connection with Pragya as claimed by her father'

Congress clarified that it has no connection with the arrested Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur as claimed by her father C P Singh Thakur.

Congress on Tuesday clarified that it has no connection with the arrested Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur as claimed by her father C P Singh Thakur.

Senior Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh minister Govind Singh in a statement said that he knows Thakur for long as an RSS worker and in the last four assembly polls her family always worked against the Congress.

There is no similarity between their (Thakur's) ideology and that of Congress, he said, adding the statement of C P Singh that his family believed in Congress ideology before emergency is a conspiracy.

He said that Pragya has let down people of Lahar town in Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh with her alleged involvement in the Malegaon blasts and demanded a CBI probe into the whole episode.
