A majority of Class XII students did well in their history and biotechnology exams, but they seemed annoyed because of a lack of gap for the next paper. Richa Chauhan of Sanskriti School said, “The biotechnology paper was easy.

The questions requiring conceptual thinking were tough. But I am more worried about the physics paper which is on Saturday. There isn’t enough time to revise.” Meanwhile, some students who wrote their history exam on Friday said that a few questions were from outside the curriculum.

“The 19th question in Set-3 about development of China after Mao Zedong’s death was confusing. We have only read about the developments that took place during his rule,” said Ankit Malik of Army Public School. Students taking the biotechnology paper claimed that though it was easy, there were some questions and the extra 15 minutes “cool-off” time helped.

The second board exam had given many a sleepless nights to the examinees. Therefore, anxiety and nervousness were writ large on the faces of these students as they were stepping in to write their exam.

Three hours later, the bright faces that emerged were proof that the paper went off well.
