"We demand from the People's Republic of China, independence for Tibet, immediate stop to all human rights violations, no Olympics in China until Tibet is free and release of all political prisoners," the Tibetan Youth Congress said in a statement in Bangalore on Sunday.

The fast approaching Beijing Olympics, including the torch relay to the Mount Everest would be dealt with by protests and campaigns before and after the Olympics until Tibet is free, it said.

"Recent events inside Tibet clearly reveal that Tibetans yearn to be blessed with the presence of his Holiness, the Dalai Lama and hence are calling for his return and independence of Tibet...," the statement said.

"We expect Tibetans of all walks of life, including monks and nuns, to participate in the march," the release said, adding that the march will be conducted from December 10 to January one.
