Eminent wrestler and ex-deputy mayor of Sangli Corporation Vishnu Patil Sawarde passed away in Sangli after prolonged illness, family sources said.
The end came last night.
He was 76.
Sawarde was a arts degree holder and was felicitated by Dadaji Kondev Puraskar by the Maharashtra government.
