Ever since anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare broke his fast, his supporters have found a yummy new way to celebrate — by feasting on Anna savouries. City-based pastry chef Kishi Arora is selling a range of Anna cupcakes, complete with tricolour icing and a vanilla Anna topi.

“The day Anna announced the end of his anshan, I got many orders for cakes. That’s when I thought I should add the Anna touch,” says Arora. The cupcakes (Rs 2,000 for a dozen) and cookies (Rs 1000 for 500 gm) can be ordered on foodaholics.com.

Nathu’s at Sunder Nagar is also selling ‘I am Anna’ cakes (Rs 440 for a 1kg order) that have a tiranga icing over chocolate base, and thesweetboutique.com has cakes with messages like ‘Join me against corruption’.

Restaurants aren’t far behind. “We’ll give a 10% discount to guests who sign our collage in support of the campaign,” says Atin Khanna of Jukebox Café in Nehru place.

Chalchitra Cafe in GK has also introduced a subsidised ‘Jan Thali’ to mark the end of Anna’s fast.
